Can a Piece of **** blow off valve cause your turbo to spool later then it is supposed to? I have a GT28RS (Disco Potato) and it does not spool all the way until about 4.5K. I have heard that it should spool completely by 3700 RPM. I do know my crappy no name bov is leaking tons of air at idle causing it not to idle, and the Horn fell off from it also. Thats what I get trying to save a dollar. The Greddy Type RS is on the way thank god.

I noticed when my type-s was set too loose, I made boost slower and my motor didn't feel as strong.

Get a good BOV, and set it correctly. Keep tightening it untill you notice any compressor surge, then back it off a bit. It does make a difference.

Thanks Jesse for your help. I thought that might be the root of the problem, but I'm no expert yet on Turbo cars, I'm new to the game, but learning quickly.

lol yeh since most POS bovs are spring type then too much boost can push the sh1t spring in and release bost until the turbo can compensate for the boost leak.
