Went to Ozzfest last night and came to the aforementioned conclusion after having seen POD and System of a Down for the first time. POD was just boring. Nothing else really to say about that. System's lead "singer" came out in a bathrobe. WTF? They should have had gay pride flags as part of their set. It would have fit. I don't see why people think they're great and why the hell they played after Zombie.

On the upside, Ozzy may be getting older, but he still has the voice and the heart to put on a great show. He is still the man.

Everyone went nuts when Rob Zombie played. If you're into heavy music, he's definitely worth seeing. I wish he would have gotten switched with System, because he's WAY better. He only got 30-40 minutes of time while System got a full hour or better.

I got there to see the end of Drowning Pool. They're pretty damn good.

i saw rob zombie play here in louisville with pantera. i'm not a zombie fan, but i will say he puts on one hellofa show. 14ft walking robots and devil girls dancing in cages.i was curious how POD would play. and also wondering what they're doing at an ozz fest. POD was is a straight edge christian going kind of group. System of a Down are just plain nuts.

Ozzy is amazing...Zombie is damn goodSystem of a Down in one of the most talented bands in the world!POD..... ah, take 'em or leave 'em!

System's music doesn't appeal to a lot of people, they have a very unique sound. In terms of raw talent and originality they are absolutely amazing..... very good band!

I saw Ice-Cube live at Lollapalooza '93. Let's just say it wasn't exactly my thing. How many times do I need to hear a guy go, "uh..... uh..... cum-on....uh... turn it up....uh..... yeh cop killa is right!......uh" He didn't even write cop killer did he, I thought that was Ice-T.... But I saw Beastie Boys live, and they kicked a$$! Of course, they actually play their own instruments from time to time.

Yeah Ozzy is still the man by far. I saw him and Zombie on teh Merry Mahem tour when it came to Louisville, KY and that show was awesome. I had 6th row center seats for the show and it was quite memorable. Zombie had lots of sepcial effects and stuff to keep you entertained and not to mention nice looking women scantilly clad dancing so you gotta like that and lots of fire :ylsuper

Ozzy is just awesome and he can still rock out for an old guy. I mean he opened up his set in a sleigh wearing a Santa outfit shooting people with a water gun and dropping water baloons on everyone, it was awesome. Not to mention they had Santa crucified on a cross with the cross burning which I thought was kinda funny. And Zach Wild is quite the proficient guitar player too. This was actually teh second time I got to see Ozzy. I saw him a while back on the No More Tours Tour and Alice In Chains opened up if I remember corectly.

Can't say i have seen System or POD in concert but I don't really care for System anyhow.

If System of a Down stays together, I think they will be the best thing to happen to the music world since Led Zeppelin. They are truely unique, they have something important to say, they are VERY talented musicians, and amazing writers. I appreciate the fact that some people don't like their sound, but they are simply the a very important enima that the music scene had needed for more than 10 years.

one rap group that I have seen that can actually perform is Outkast. They turned me on to rap/hiphop.

Outkasts is pop??!! Then KISS is R&B and BB King is Heavy Metal. Whoever thinks that deserves a "pop" in the a** or deesballs "pop"ped in their mouth.Outkasts has been doing hip-hip funk since Southernplayalistic. They have their own style but it is still hip-hop. N-Sync and Brittney are POP. They flipped it on Stankonia to make some of that Rave money and snatch up some more white folk in the process. That's called good business.
