haha sweet the superflux are amazingJpmemcoupe wrote:I just got my A/C <2 weeks ago, and I want to install the orange oznium superflux 4 chips in center console(2 in front cubby 2 in cup holder, and 2, 5mm in rear cubby). I'm wondering if that many led's would be too bright? I am really just wanting enough light in the cubby's and cup holders to be able to see what's in there / where the Diet Mt. Dew goes, at night without having to turn on the map lights.I have read ESP's led console install and would like to know if I can splice to the dash lights, so that the new leds come on when I turn on the headlights? , or should I really wire them on a separate switch
My wife said no major mods, hence the orange color choice. Thanks for any help/ advice on this.Jp
Greetings! While it's absolutely possible to wire them up to come on with the dash lights, I'm with LBC on this when I say that it may be wiser to use an independent switch so you can turn them off in case you get pulled over. Some cops will really dig in to you if you've got anything flashy going on with your car...just a word of advice!Jpmemcoupe wrote:Hey, I would like to thank LBC for the welcome. Thanks
PhEnoM78, 1st want to say for all your led post You should get the custom titleis possible to wire these up to the dash lights, I'm not looking for ultra bright, just enough to find the cup holders when its dark, and would like them to come on with the dash lights.
On another note, Just got home from the Tint shop. 35%front and AS1 drop, 15% rear. Looks great on the Silver A/C.
Always happy to help!Make sure you post some pics when you're finished...I'd considered doing orange in my coupe too.Jpmemcoupe wrote:ESP, Thanks for the info about the brightness of the superflux, and wiring.btw, you take some great pics.Jp
yea they ARE !!!!! lol my shift knob glows like crazy now lol.....and soon some other areaESP wrote:
If it's just a simple low intensity glow you're going after then the 5mm LED's would probably be best for you in the cupholders as the SuperFlux LEDs are bright!
