Just wondering opinions, black ultraleggera's, probably 18'' on a 32 GTR... I'm in Iraq right now, with plans to buy a black R32 GTR when I get back, just thinking rim choices.

meh, not enough lip for me. i know you said 18 but what sizes were you planning on running? a gtr is a man car, and needs man size wheels. 18x9 AT LEAST with low offsets. get some suspension and roll those finder lips in a little bit and camber in and be ever so VIP.

but hey, its your money, you do what you want with it.

thanks for the input, i was probably going to go 18x10, i tried to do that "envisio" thing listed in another thread, to see what the OZ's would look like on the car, but skylines were conspicuously absent under the Nissan tab. oh well, i DO have 11 more months to decide.

looks pretty good, but stock GT-R rims are still the sex. i'm stationed on COB Speicher, near Tikrit. Sucks now, but that R is so very much worth it

wow, ft carson isn't too far from me. when u get back let me know, i'll set you up with the guy who did my stuff for me and see if i can't get you a good deal. i live up in parker, about 1.5-2hrs from ft carson (20mi south of Denver). when u get it we'll have to meet up sometime, go for an R-Chassis cruise.

The plan for acquiring said black R32 GT-R is that I'll probably start looking seriously a few months before I get back to the states, then once I find a legitimate (or seemingly legitimate) buy, I'll make the appropriate arrangements and hopefully go get the car about a week after I'm state-side. There seems to be a lot of R32's for sale in the central FL area, so I'll probably look there first. Actually, I think I got in touch with Nico member BNR32 about a car or two he had up on ModifiedCarTrader.com. He already knows my situation, so I might go with him. Who knows at this point, I'm up for suggestions. It would be bad-*** to go for an R-chassis cruise though, I'm definitely feeling that one
