Oxygen Sensor terms?

So the CEL came on my 96 Pathfinder and the OBD II scanner says that it is PO161. I've searched around and figured out that this is referring to the Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor (Left Bank).

My question is, does Left Bank mean the drivers side or the passenger side?

It seems there are so many ways to describe these O2 sensors but no consistency in the terms. Every sensor manufacturer seems to use different terms that don't match Nissan's terms. I was trying to make some sense of all these in the table below for reference. Please tell me if I am on the right track or totally wrong...

Front = Upstream = Pre Cat
Back = Downstream = Post Cat
Left = (Driver or Passenger??) = (Bank 1 or 2??)
Right = (Driver or Passenger??) = (Bank 1 or 2??)
