oxnard/ventura?

Thats a Good idea but, seeing that not everyone is familiar with canyons and such Im not sure if doing a canyone drive for the first meet would be a good thing. We wont know how each other drives when we first meet maybe just a cruise down the 1 or somthing just to get everyone used to driving styles maybe?

I'm pretty sure CA_boy assumed we would be cruising through the canyon, Nico does not condone anything on the streets. But propose to him about just cruising down the 1, although I think driving on a highway or the streets is a boring alternative when you could drive up canyons like stunt and have lunch with an amazing view.

I ain't getting angry and I'm not presuming or claiming you were suggesting it. I'm just stating the obvious because the mass'es on here tend to bring their flame throwers in when its mentioned

But I'm pretty sure like most meets and cruise's I attend its gonna be a slow nice drive to enjoy.

And this is why I said that we should just talk about it when at the meet. It appears as though it has at least been decided that one way or another we'll go down the 1. I think that everyone should just bring their ideas and we can figure out a plan that would interest everyone involved. From what I have seen there isn't a group of nissan owners out here that really enjoy meeting up. As of right now my goal isn't to try to pit anyone against eachother but rather to at least have people meet other enthusiasts. I have some ideas but I would much rather discuss them in person rather than debate on the internet. I CAN say that by the end of the day there will be some new friends and that people won't go away empty handed.

As for the CA.....thats an interesting story....unfortunately I do not have a CA. Both of my S13s are SR powered. One is an S14 and the other a redtop. I'm getting ready to sell the redtop motorset and build up an RB25. One of my good buddies back home has a CA and I would be more than happy to discuss pros and cons if you two need a little nudge though.

The 1 is a decent road just to cruise and enjoy it. The canyons are also fun. Personally, I enjoy the canyons myself. In my experience though, when you get a group of people together that don't know how one another act bad things can happen. *IF* everyone feels comfortable I would prefer just a nice legal cruise through mulholland. I don't feel as if that is a hard road to drive. But at the same time it has enough twisties to keep canyon lovers interested...yet the road can also accomodate the more conservative drivers.

I wouldn't mind meeting closer to a canyon. I figured that Oxnard would be a decent sudo central location. If everyone is down there is an Applebys right off the 101 and Las Posas in camarillo. I'll let the masses decide.

So throw up a vote Oxnard or Camarillo?

I think we'll have them bi-weekly. The weekends of the 1st and 15th seem to be pretty good days...we'll just have to see how the turnout gets. That sucks you have to work man. Oh well depending on what time you get out it might still be goin on if you feel like stopping in and saying "hello"

Just a friendly reminder its up for this weekend, mark it on the calendars and save some gas money! Applebys in Camarrilo 2pm!! Any vehicles welcome (Nissan/infinite preferred) come one come all! yea was over at rays 2nite watchin him cut his springs, it def. gonna be a scary ride. and comeone aaron you let ray's secret out the bag, shhhhhhhh he told us in confidentiality bro come on now lol. yea s13 hopefully should be down at the smog station thursday and gettin my tags and brakes and rotors friday nite. almost finished my smog equipment stuff 2nite, until i sliced my thumb open, i'll more likely loose the thumb nail but its all good

I've only ever seen that guy Miguel from that one shop...some guy with a white SRed 240 and a grey one, but typically I am alone!
