actually i love my 12 string

i just played for a while and boy are my fingers on fire on the ends. i been playing me a little green day. time of your life is probably one of my favoritist songs ever.

Takes a while to bring those fingers up to par. I been playing near 20 years now and if I set the guitar down for a week my fingers kill when i pick it back up again.

i played non stop for a few months. got calasis like a mofo. set it down for a few months, pick it up, and feel like my fingers are getting cut everytime i hit a chord. 20 years is a long time!!

89, you are correct. like i said, i played constantly for a few months, got pretty good if i do say so myself, but then i put it down for a couple months and my fingers turned to mush on the ends. and NO ONE can have my car now. she will die with me :pface

Don't feel bad about your sore little finger tips man. I;m having a hard time typing lately... as the tip of my middle finger was completely crushed Saturday. It's black, painful, wiggles side to side, swollen, and skinned. I had a several-hundred-pound timber roll over and fall on it.... crushing it into a rock. I feel your pain brother... about 100 times over!

I'm six weeks into beginner guitar lessons and I'm getting some pretty gnarly knots on the ends of my fingers.

Wish I'd taken lessons as a kid - This is difficult!

WOW HITMAN THAT FRIEND I TOLD YOU ABOUT IS TAKING GUITAR,MUSIC THEARY.he playing.he used to come over and play mine.but pheonix is a little far now.my hands are weird,had callises for 20 years.after being off work for 5 years i started to play again.its been a yearof playing almost every day and my i cannot for the life of me get them back.i have massive nerve damage that even effects my skin,i think thats why.broke my 69 framas 12 string the other day cause i cant feel the strings and wene i bar the strings go right thru my skin without them pushing down.its going to make a nice wall planter.iplay horrible now.no feeling on sides of hand can hardly pic sometimes,my bodys in thew dark.

all my friends use fingers and picson there basses .each has a distinctive sound.i love to watch guitar players that dont use them tho.pros need to do both.studio musicians

my fingers are starting to get a little rough already. i play for like 15 mins a night, so not much at all. just trying to easily bring them back. at least they are coming.....they hurt like a mofo right now though. hurts to type!

besides my fingers hurting i love learning how to play te guitar!! its awesome. i need a feaking job so i can get some money. its starting to tick me off i ahte getting money from my parents, its getting old, i don't know if i'm gonna give the guy the 865dollars to get that fender for my car or just let my car ahve a battle scar..i can just stick a hammer under there, pull up a littel and it will be just fine.. i have applied at four or five diffrent palces so hopefully i will ahve one by next week!!

thanks man i gonna need it i have applied at 4 places. i ahve to call bi-lo and advance and auto zone are gonna get in touch with me next week. thats the job i want. i hate the damn grocery store. but a job is a job the cash is still the same !!
