hang on the rim enough and you'll build calluses, (hehe) pullups on a bar will help too... and if you want a nice advantage, get the jumpsoles. not he strength shoes! they're good, but the jumpsoles strap onto the shoe you're wearing, and you can get the proprioceptor, it's this little ball that attaches to the shoe, and it builds up the supporting muscles around your knees and ankles- I use to sprain the sh*t out of my ankles, now after a 4 week program 6 or so months ago, I haven't been close. oh, and I don't have to tell you guys that I was jumping out of the gym and can cut on a dime and give you 8 cents back. damn, if only I wasn't so lazy now...
and if you think getting cut by the rim is bad, try wearing a watch and get caught up by the net...
