yea.... so i kinda "wrecked" at drift practice todayIm not going to makes excuses... I understeered into an embankment behind the skidpad, my faultthe course was set up with cones, a long strait into a 3rd gear drift the entire way around the back of the skidpad.Well, I have stock suspention... it was tricky, especially because it curved into a decreasing radius turn to the left. I started to get the hang of it though it was hard to link the entire course (the rest wasnt bad: small S turns etc...) but I guess I pushed it a lil too hard and tried to hang with my buddies cars (full suspetion/SR)

I was told that my turn progressivly got wider and wider each run (after I wreck) but I didnt notice, and honestly forgot that testing embankment was even there. and finnally with no tread left and me ready to do doughnuts after the run to kill them I understeer strait into it... prob a 45 deg angle... was said to even get air off it... dont know HOW there wasnt more "visual" damage.but had the car towed etc... etc... great day up untill then only 30 min left in the session. Taught me a lession...

so any ideas what else could be broken? lol... yeaa I gotta fix the TC rods then go from there

Damn....I guess something had to break sooner or later. Look at it this way, now you can say you know the proper way to snap tie rods.lol jk. At least when something breaks you have the oportunity to upgrade.

Looked pretty fun. Nothing better to break stock stuff to replace with aftermarket.

I would check the tension rod bracket to make sure you didnt bend it out of shape then check the knucle spindle and wheel bearing for any other damage.

If your tension rod bracket took a sh1t then you can get a NISMO power brace to replace it (it will change the way you drift, though).

Do you know what kind of rods you had before?

lol, eugene its in no way your fault...its cool tho, it happens... It was only a matter of time till something like this happened.from what it looks like my tow hitch might have saved my entire car, Its the only thing i could visably see scratched under the car (hopefully) and we guess it poped my car up airborn and the landing stressed the tension rod enough to snap it.

right now im looking at Tanabe tension rods (or kazama, but only b/c their cheaper...) making some calls tom about availability, need them by friday

Also... In what way would the nismo powerbrace change the way I drift... just considering it, cause im prepareing myself for any suprizes after getting at the tension compression rods
