when i get the chance and money i wanna rebuild my Ka24de for turbo, but i wanted to know if i should go with +.020 sized pistons instead of stock bore pistons? or does it really matter

If your stock bore is good, then hone it and that is it. Otherwise replace them. The only reason to do it is to clean up the walls, since the amount of displacement you gain is negligable, and it will cause an increase in dynamic compression. My engine has 245k on it, just finished the rebuild w/o boreover on Chrome rings, still haven't driven it (bad injector), and I am pulling 1 - 1802 - 1823 - 1804 - 190

I guess what I am saying is that unless you ****ed up big, it will probably be fine.

pluss if u look at our motors there is allready a very thin area between numbers 2 and 3 the head gasket barely seal there as it is
