What was the biggest oversize anyone has gotten away with on the crank main/rod journals (CA18DET)? My crank is 0.03mm out of the tolerance of the +0.50 oversize bearings (on main and rod, too), and I'm contemplating going with +0.75s (from Clevite). Has anyone done this? Would you still consider this a reliable setup? If yes, until how much whp?

And yes, I'd much rather use a stock sized crankshaft, but there aren't any good used ones to be found around here, and I don't really feel like buying one for ~$1000 from eric's. :(

So, does this mean everyone still has STD size journals on their cranks, and either never spun a bearing, or just toss the crank if it's out of the STD specs?
