Hello Nico-members!
My Infiniti is experiencing an overnight loss of tire pressure in the rear passenger wheel. The pressure drops about 4-5psi overnight in just one wheel (Rear-Passenger) and the TPMS warning comes on every morning when I move the car from its overnight parking spot. I am scheduled to take it to the dealer this coming Wednesday, but I was wondering if anyone here has experienced a similar problem?
I do re-inflate the said tire every morning to a pressure of 30-32psi using an air pump. My Infiniti is a 2012 M37x leased this September and has about 3,000 miles on it. Any suggestions or pointers will be highly appreciated!!

regards

You probably just have a nail in your tire, or it could be the weird fluctuation of weather were having here in the northeast.

I live in the NE and my tires are down a few pounds just due to the dropping tempertures. Your leak is more than likely caused by a nail or other item that punctured the tire. It could also be a rim leak, valve stem leak and many other reasons. Take it to a good tire shop and have it fixed is about the only thing you can do.

I had the same issue. Pressure would drop consistently any time a cold front came around. I switched to nitrogen and never experienced the issue again.

Go nitrogen, and also, Nissan/Infiniti TPMS are known to be very sensitive. if it goes down one or 2 psi, the warning light will go on, i suggest you fill it up to 32-33 in the cold with nitrogen or warm them up and fill them up with nitrogen to 34, i had the same problem in cold. but in both my front tires.

As everyone has suggested, most likely temp drop, but check for nails. I recently had a big pressure drop of about 10psi and knew it was a nail. I check and found three in that one tire  if you don't have a tire warranty GET ONE!! Good luck.

Thanks. I will take it to a good tire shop for a thorough check.

Im guessing bad tire bead or a nail that you are overlooking. Hopefully not a bent/cracked rim or anything. Most likely a $20-30 fix that any local place can do. I wouldnt take it to infiniti for just that issue, unless you love paying 3x as much for the same thing. Good luck
