it's the opposite with mine. I have a red coupe and got LBC's GTR overlays and the dark overlay in contrast with the red looks great. Different when it was all red.Marisha wrote:Got a dark slate coupe myself, def staying away from the roof overlay. As for the light ones I keep going back and forth. My latest thing is liking the contrast that the red brake light housing has with the dark slate.
yeah, not sure why there's all the hating going on with the roof overlays.. when installed correctly, you can't tell the difference between the roof overlay and the roof painted black! I have bluebatmobile's roof overlay on my silver coupe.. and I love it!BlackNWhite wrote:Aww, why is everyone hating on the roof overlay? I think mine looks good.
BlackNWhite....Love the car, the rims and the overlay. Wonder how it'd look on my car?BlackNWhite wrote:^On that note... on Thursday as I was parking in a parking lot a guy was parking in front of me at the same time.
When he got out he told me, "Nice car." Then he got closer and asked, "Wow, these come with all glass roofs now?"
Lol, I just thanked him and told him that it was a vinyl overlay. He was amazed. He went up to it and touched it to make sure.
Thank you, thank you.dangeris wrote:Yeah,..nevermind..I retract my previous statement! The roof overlay looks hot!

I noticed you don't have that omnidirectional antennae. How would that work with the overlay?
Oh god I hope they were joking with you. I would not even entertain the thought of taking a sharpie to my car. If some one really did this..then...BlackNWhite wrote:.... I think NISSAN4LIFE had this problem. I think he covered it with a sharpie. Or someone might've just been joking with me.
Great pic! Would Love to add it to my Gallery if thats okBlackNWhite wrote:^On that note... on Thursday as I was parking in a parking lot a guy was parking in front of me at the same time.

there were a few key ways the folks at Nissan attemtped to give the Altima Coupe some distance from its G35 brother.... the rear window/quarter panel being one of them... the G35 has the continuous line you speak of from the C pillar to the trunk, so does the 4th generation Altima Sedan...but they changed that up on the coupe... again, I think it was done purely for cosmetic reasons to further seperate the A/C from the G (the car that they obviously borrowed about 85% of the styling cues from)beeristasty wrote:I like black roofs, but not on the coupe. Why? because there isn't a clean transition between the roof/c-pillar and the rear window. When you black the roof out, it just looks a bit out of place on an otherwise well designed exterior.
