i have finally got my car on the road(91 ka24de) and now i am having some problems. When driving the temp gauge goes all the way to H but not quite overheats. im just worried that if i go somewhere its gonna overheat. it has a alum. radiator with the 2 electric fans. they are wired up by a fan controller with a probe into the fin of the radiator for the temperature. Do you think it will be fine even though the gauge says it is way up there? Most of the time when im driving it will stay about half way or a little less and then there are days where this happeneds, and i am completley shootting blanks.

Did you find what the problem was? If not check your catalytic converter.

check your radiotor there might be a little

leak some where there. just look around. if not

could be a bad radiotor.

i had the same problem.but i had a tiny whole.

so i just simply replaced it.with another that i

had laying around.

i would check your thermostat to make sure it sn't stuck mostly closed. Keeping coolant from circulating through your radiator. Also air in your cooling system could also cause an overheating condition.
