overheating

ok im having a over heating problem but only when im in stop and go traffic with the ac on. when the ac is off it doesnt overheat. when im driving with no traffic with the ac on it doesnt overheat. only in stop and go stop and go traffic. i tried flushing the system out and changing the termostat. anyone has any idea of what it could be?

look up "burping" for your car. it is probably air bubbles trapped in your coolant system making your system read hot. You could check it by dumping gears so that your rpm's are higher and move the air bubble past.
