so my car likes to overheat when the A/C is on and im in the stop and go traffic....any ideas?there isnt any antifreeze spewing out or anything....i usually catch it before it gets way up there...but whne i notice it the needle is already 3/4 of the way up the gauge....what do u think it could be?

also what is needed to do the timing belt....i have the new nissan belt i just want to know if theres anything else i need to get while doing it...

hate to state the obvious....have you checked the level in the radiator?

reason I say is I had problems with my upper and lower thermostat housings, and at first the leaking was just being evaporated and I never seen it dripping until it got really bad.

Thats pretty strange ,, Ive driven mine in 105F ambient in stop and go Dallas traffic and never overheated.Maybe the Rad is clogged up ??You might also give this a shot.Loosen the two top rad support brackets and tilt it back a bit.then look down and see if there isnt a boatload of leaves/crap in between the Rad and the condensor ..Mine was a few years back .. made a big differance in temps .
