not really understanding why the twin fanswere wired to the fuel pump...anyhoo...

it's possible you got a bad thermostatit's possible the shop didn't do a good head gasket jobit's possible the "new" radiator cap is bad as well...

have you looked into the coolant in theradiator when the engine's cold?

i really doubt radiator size is the problem. If you have seen signs that your headgasket is on its way out, then it prolly is. Maybe the shop didnt torque it right (could be still warped).does your coolant and oil look normal (no signs of mixing or combustion byproducts?)?if you open your radiator cap in the morning and start your car, does coolant blow out everywhere?oh, BTW, how much advanced timing are you running? That might be part of the problem.

and i thought the 240 came with a 2 row radiator? in anycase, radiator size should not be the problem, assuming the unit is in good working condition (i.e: good fins, no clogging, no leak, no crack)...

neways, r u sure you fully bled the cooling system properly?

also, you said head was resurfaced... but did the block receive the same treatment?

last: how did the exhaust smell?

not too many due to the majority of the job done on the car (a matter of removing the old gasket material stuck on the block with several passes of rolloc pads),

but anytime we get to pull everything apart (pistons, rods, crank out; etc...), , we'd do that. we also offer decking the cast iron exhaust manifold flanges as well..especially w/ OEM turbo parts.

the practice is carried over with blocks that use stainless multilayer head gasket as well.

i understand what you are saying but the chances of warping an iron block especially in his case are slim to none.

thank you for clarifying, however, slim to none is still a probability.

I want to know why the car was in the shop in the first place.

Our arguing of what may have been wrong at this point is useless.

anyways, did some search out of curiosity...http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....79506http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....79505

multiposting the same thread all over...well, i guess that works..
