I am so pissed...my 240 has been overheating....I have been noticing the signs that my car has had a blown headgasket...I called the shop where i had my car done, to see if it was done. They said it is donje, but is still overheating.....I dont know what else it could be, i have all new cooloing system...what else could it be? here is what i have done-new Headgasket/resurfaced head/valves -new radiator, KOYO but not aluminum-new water pump-new thermostat-twin flex-a-lite fans wired up to the fuel pump-new radiator hoses-new radiator cap-flushed and bleeded system-I also have the stock mechanichal fan being used, w/ the twin fans....

try a new thermal transmitter. its the little one wire sending unit next to the regular coolant temp sensor. i think its like $10 from the dealer. try to get it from one of our sponsors like pinnacle nissan. its a cheap part and i have seen them read hot when the motor is not hot.

have you verified that it is in fact overheating by popping the hood and checking?

well, if it is indeed overheating and all the above stuff is fixed...i dont know. you have kinda done everything. are they oem parts? i had a freind who got a water pump with the impeller on backwards. i have also seen many name brand(big names too) aftermarket thermostats that are no good right out of the box.

the thermostat is OEM. The water pump is from autozone...My timing has been advanced, could that have anything to do w/ it?
