my 1993 240sx ka24de is overheating kind of. What I was told is that there are air pockets in my cooling system. I flushed the system through the radiator, but I broke my relief screw when trying to take it off and couldn't get to the coolant plug on the block. After flushing the radiator and driving it for about 10-15 min the top of my radiator cracked. Could it be from the pressure from the air pockets. Also I replaced my water pump, t-stat, and my temp gauge is reading either half way or a little over (not sure where halfway is). I need help ASAP as this is my daily driver. Thank you

Is it cold where you live? If so, did you have Anti-freeze or just water in your radiator? How old is the Radiator?

I doubt air pressure in your radiator could build up enough to crack it. It sounds like the radiator was just old and crapped out on you.
