Ok since I replaced my clutch my enigne has been getting a lil hot. If I let the car sit and idle its fine temp stays right were it should. First I thought that it was just the thermostat. I repalced that and bled the system a few times. First I let the car warm up, shut off, opened bleeder valve on intake and rad cap, started the car, I let the fluid pour out of the bleeder valve for about a min or two, then capped it off, and kept adding fluid to the radaitor for over 30 min. I checked the temp again and it was fine, after about 10 min of driving it started to overheat. If I let the car sit and idle the temp would go back down.

I hope its not the hg, b/c that was just replaced about a year ago and i have no smoke of any kind coming out of the exhaust.

Please any ideas I need to leave for New Orleans in a few days and cant do that currently.

hook up a scan tool or another temp gauge to it . i just had the same problem with mine and i found out that my gauge is very very inaccurate. also maybe a bad coolant---->gauge temp sensor.

Is ur rad. fan working? everything connected with no leaks? can you hear your overflow boil when too hot( dont over heat it to find out)? does your oil look milky or coolent look anything other than clean green color? did you try taking off rad. cap(not when hot!) ,starting it, and see if its spraying out coolent ? does it smoke? If all this checks out try a leak down test then compression test.
