Hey guys,

I just picked up a radiator for a SOHC, to use on my DOHC. I didn't notice until after I bought it that it is a single row rad as opposed to a dual. The question is, have any of you running the SOHC with a turbo ran into overheating issues?

I'm not sure man, but all S13's I've ever owned have had a one core radiator with plastic end tanks. Sometimes, depending on where you get it, an "OEM" replacement will have 2 rows. As was the case with my '89 SOHC. I got it from Napa and it was a 2 core, all copper monster. I had to hammer one of my hood supports by the passenger headlight to make it fit. Maybe I got the wrong one, I dunno. But everything else fit and worked as stock.Come to think of it... I think my 2 1/2" Koyo is only a single core. Maybe there is a method to the madness...?

I think it'll be ok Cheze. Just monitor the temps for awhile and make sure the fan shroud is in place.

Now, to fix my #3 compression issue (bad valve lash adjustment), and get my ROM situation figured out and I'm golden.

WD, I just hit boost the other day (not driving it, at idle - 5psi). I will soon be a KA-t'er.

What you will have problems with is getting it to fit the car. The DE and SR rads have the inlet & outlet on different sides while the E has them on the same side.

They are shown to be on the same side on mine.

I could have it backwards as I suffer from CRS, but the bottom line is that it will not fit.

I can just use a universal hose, though.

My hose inlet and outlet are both on the passenger side. That is what the picture showed for the one I bought. Maybe I already have one from an SOHC.

EDIT: WD, I do not have a fan shroud, I have an electric fan.
