Another guy posted something about his 91 Sx overheating, mine's not doing the same thing though. It's constantly overheating, and I have to keep putting water/antifreeze in there when it gets too hot, but here's the thing, there's no sign of leaks anywhere. I've checked and checked, but I can't find anything, not even any overflow in the reservoir tank. I'm starting to think it's the thermostat, but I'm not too sure, any ideas guys?

check to see if the coolant is mixing with the oil or burning out the exhaust... if not, it might be air in the system.

if its not burning out the exhaust or mixing in the oil then pull the tstat and replace it with a new one. clip off the jiggle valve and make sure its installed at the top and then bleed the system.

I'm going to do all that tomorrow and check and see how it goes then. I hope it's just the thermostat, I don't think it's mixing with the oil. How do you check to see if it is? I haven't really messed with S13s, mostly S14s, not much of a difference I reckon. This one's got a Ka24e I do believe, SOHC. Looks easier to work on. :] I just need some help with it until I can get to where I know how to do it myself. xD

i had a similar issue. im sure you already did the basics jack up the front end ( or make it higher than the rear ) start and run your vehicle with the heater on and the cap for you radiator off ( if u see bubbles that is a good thing ) also take ur thermostat out iff the above doesnt work, hook all ur stuff back up and run ur vehicle if it does not overheat than u DO need a new thermostat. those are pretty basic but good luck !
