My 350 roadster has been in storage for over a month. When I went move it, the battery was low and I put it on a charger for a few minutes so I could start it. I did not remove the battery cables. I left it run in my driveway to charge the battery and can back 20 minutes later and it overheated. I let it cool overnight and started it again and watched the temp, It started to climb. I checked the fans and neither were running. The fuses under the hood for fans are good. I also turned on the heater inside the car and never had hot air coming out. Any suggestion on why the fans are not running? I manually tried spinning the fans by hand and had no resistance.

Have you checked the coolant level. If the level is too low the coolant temp sensor won't read correctly and the fans will not come on.That also would explain the lack of heat from your heater.Do the fans work when you turn the A/C on?

Coolant is at top of radiator. Is there a sensor that could be bad?

Update, I have the pass. side fan, which is barely turning on its own and the driver side isn't evening turning. What is troubling is the heater will not blow out heat. The only thing that comes to mind is the motor on the fans are shot, unless anyone thinks the fan controller is bad or there is a bad sensor somewhere. But with the heater not even coming on, is making me think a stuck thermostat.

Any suggestions? would really like to get this car on the road, with the weather being good.

Fans do not come on when the A/C is running.

You need to check to see if they are getting power and make sure to check the ground side too.

Sorry it's a problem that brought you here but we're glad you found us!

Run the test procedure for the IPDM in the pg.pdf chapter of the FSM. I'd suggest wetting down the windshield instead and leaving the wipers down so you can have the hood up and listen for the fan clutch.

Welcome to NICO! :badger
