I was driving down the road and the car started running weird. Its a KA24DET btw. Anytime I'd get on the gas at all, it would stop making power. It felt just like the timing went to full retard as soon as it started building boost.

I have a boost retard device, so I disabled it, and it didnt help. Checked the ignition timing and its all good. Car idles great but as soon as I get on it, it sucks. Noticed the car was running hot. Found I had a crack in the radiator..So I replaced it and threw on a nice set of altima fans while I was at it. Nope.. Still overheating. Got a thermostat.. Didnt help anything. Im anal about bleeding fluids, and theres no conceivable way that there's a micron of air in the system.

I just bought a water pump and will install it tomorrow. If that doesnt work, im gonna try to just remove the thermostat.

I've done a compression check and its 195 across the board, so I dont think its the headgasket. Im not smoking or losing any coolant either. I am sad.
