Overheating at idle after electric fan install

Hey guys so i bought the flex a lite dual fan kit for my s13 and well i got it on didn't have a thermostat so i just ran it so it runs all the time. thing is it overheats if im not moving why could this be? i was thinking that it was the stock rad's fault but iono.

I'd suggest inspecting/replacing either the thermostat or pump
