Yesterday when I was heading home my car cut off on me cause it overheated. I had a rough nite before and wasnt paying attention to the gauges (cause it worked that nite when I drove it perfectly fine). As I write this, I'm letting the air get outta the cooling system to see if that could be the problem. I added new coolant and water today too. If this doesnt keep it from overheating, I"m assuming its the thermostate...if so, I'll get a new one tomorrow. While I'm asking...where is the termostat located at?

Next, white smoke has always seeped outta the exhaust but lately its been A LOT. WHen I rev past like 3g white smoke poors out. Is this because I have a bad rear seal and I leak oil? Or is something else wrong? Also, when I remove the oil cap, the tinest bit of white smoke comes outta there. Whats up with my car!! Thanks

Jason

turbo oil seals are probably gone, which would cause the smoke, as for overheating, was the radiator full?

If you overheated the car bad enough where it quit running then you probably warped the cylinder head. The white smoke is probably from water and oil mixing. Drain your fluids and see if either have mixed together. If they have do a compression test to see which cylinders are bad. Then pull it apart and get the head milled.

As stupid as I"m going to sound, yeah it was. I dont know how the hell the resevor AND radiator drained themselves. It was full the past week or so. THen yesterday I filled them up with water cause thats all my friend brought me and this morning when I checked, it was empty again. I filled them both like 5 hrs ago if not more and they are still full. I just rode around the block and the temp needle is now sitting at the 2nd notch from the first Hot notch. Understand what I"m saying on that??

Dude, you warped the head. Quit driving it. Pull the head, get a new gasket and get the head milled. Not real expensive, but it can be a pain. Sorry!
