Thats what i was thinking, overheating is a general problem, Krayton told me about ducting, i made a peice for the bottom between the fmic and the condensor and 2 peices on the side and wow what a differance, but till not good enough for city driving but i have new fans on there way out with a new koyo and a bottle of watter wetter, try the ducting, or find some good fans that flow good cfm's.Bluefire wrote:A lot of the cooling tips given in past threads are not motor or even car specific... Clutch fans with the shroud would be badass too bad i cant run it i can barely squeeze my e fans as pullershashiriya13 wrote:Depending on how the motor was installed, (kit or crossmember) with a little fab work cutting and ect. the radiator can be moved forward and allow the clutch fan to be used. that will solve allot. There are countless GTR's here in hot *** okinawa with no over heat problems with just the stock clutch fans. I will know first hand with the 26 in a day or two running off a r32 GTST radiator with just the clutch fan. As for 2 fans, pushers with a KOYO I have on my s13 RB25 in socal I had no problem (running off the ignition, always on) When i put the 26 in the 240 when I return my plan is to do some cutting and use the stock fan with one pusher on a temp switch. due to the 26 running hotter. Sorry I don't know any under the hood temps.
