Overheating 240sx

My 240 will run fine around town without overheating, however on the highway after about an hour it will begin to overheat if I slow down in traffic, the ac stops working and it does not want to cool down unless I am running on the highway, in the real hot weather I keep my heater going, anyone knows what gives, just had a new radiator and water pump, no leaks????

check to see if you have any blockage abstructing airflow to your radiator, check the condition of your clutch fan, sounds like airflow is restricted at idle

Could be the thermostat is effed up. Try flushing your radiator. Take it back to the shop if you got it done at a shop that is.
