Changed oil and even smelled like burnt plastic.Plug wires melted inside the plug holes. Car starts fine but I think that the head is warped.I plan to at least change the headgasket, valve seals.What else do I need the check/replace.Compression, before this incident, was 160~170. Engine runs quite good afterwards, no smoke, no nothing.I am quite impressed with this engine, I didnt think that the engine could hold up to that temp/abuse.
In case you wonder what happened, the lower radiator hose become loose and lost all the coolant. Why up to 272? trying to get to the emergency lane at rush hour traffic in a 6 lane highway in Puerto Rico is not a easy task!!
Any tips or recommendations?
