overhead console and maplight question

I have an 09 Versa that did not come with the maplight/sunglass holder. I want to add one, but spare parts from Versa's are sparse. I saw an auction for one from a 06 Sentra. So I thought maybe a console from an older sentra might fit.

the new sentras come with a small console without sunglass holder (I think). So maybe one from a 00-06 sentra would fit. It would have to be about 8"x8" and be flat (no contours since it would have to fit in the versa headliner which is completely straight).

Can someone with an 00-06 Sentra measure their console and tell me if it is 8x8 and flat so it will sit flush in my headliner?

The console for the Versa from the dealer is $245 or so, too much for that little thing

Very nice to see a FL Nissan here. Have you tryed Google.com? just a thought I had in mind. This is a long shot but you might want to call some local Junkyards just to see if they have a sentra or a versa. My friend has a nissan Maxima and he was trying to find a arm rest and the dealer was way too much and then we went to the junkyard and we got lucky and found a late model Maxima and found a arm rest.

I found the maplight console on ebay for ~$40, but I don't know if it will fit. The seller didn't reply to my question about the size. That's why i asked here. I figured if someone with a 00-06 Sentra could take 2 minutes to measure the console and look to see if it is flat, that would answer my question.

I have called around (and googled) local junkyard and u-pulls, but can't find a versa. They just aren't that old yet, so not many crashed and junked.
