so i think i had enough with my ratlle issue,. Clutch related or not i think it is easier to pull the motor out and rip it apart and replace bearings, seals the clutch. cuz replacing the clutch in the car will take as long as yanking the motor out am i right?and than if it wasn't clutch issue.. i have motor out.

so correct me and guide me please:

yanking ka out :1 drain oil, transmission fluid,antifreeze2 disconect transmission from shaft ,transmission mount +shifter, take the hood off 3 unplug wiring harness to injectors sensors etc 4 pull out rad, intercooler piping battery other crap in the way disconect dp from turbo . undo engine mounts , wrap chain under intake and turbo manifold ....angle transmission down and hoist out the motor at an angle..

while on hoist pull trannny off, sit engine on a stand.

start ziplocking away bolts and markin em bags

head + block to machine shop for clean up and inspection.

meanwhile drop crossmember, and clean it up, repaint

new parts: so i am thinking transmission mount and engine mounts will drilled ,cleaned and filled with windshield sealant (100% poly) and dried out.

clutch kit (i have dynapax clutch kit in it right now with less than 1k kms on it) so i am planning on keeping the pressure plate pilot bushing and release ber , just get a new clutch disc (6puck act ) i found it to be about 100$ +shipping.

engine wise i have brand new "FELLPRO" cpmplete engine gasket set. main bearing from nissan 100$ for a set rod bearings 50$ a set from nissan

piston rings 80$ for chrome set (nissan don't make em, getting it from napa)

i do have 3 chains / 3 sets of sprockets and 3 tensioners / 1 set was aftermarker(rock auto) and has less than 1k kms on it other 2 are unknown milage but in damn good shape/ how do u inspect tensioner ? should i use oem tensioneer? or just stick with rockauto one??? i am using oem chain and sprocket for sure thow.

also can someone give an idea what machine shops charge to clean and inspect block+head ?. cuz dude sad brng it in let me see it, but he didn't say how much... just sad pressure test 45$ clean up 20$ for the head.

crossmember, while its out should i change any bushings?

anything else guys ? its been quite a while since i had to rip ka apart

tools wise i got engine stand , torque wrench, jack stands +jack , complete socket(deep and regular). electric impact, ang hoist i am renting. magnetic tool , flex flash light.

i am not familiar with your exact problem, but if you just want to change the clutch you can do it without putting the engine out.
