i already know the importance of hubcentric spacers and all that

but what i was wondering is what is concidered a "safe" size to run.

i run 18x10 +20 rears with 265s on my s14 that tuck with not even a pinkey fingers clearance...i want to put some wider tires on them (like 285s or so) and some 50mm origin over fender...now would i need like 35 mm spacers? that just sounds outrageous to me.

or should i just go with the 30mm and a smaller (20mm) spacer

thanks fellas

i dont know what my camber is at i just hadent had it aligned since i dropped it on the coilovers...but i would prefer that when i get adjustable camber arms it wouldnt go below -2.5 deg

does camber make wheel spacers less safe?

I think 30mm fenders w/o spacers and corrected camber would suffice.Or 50mm fenders w/ 20mm spacers and corrected camber.

edit: all on a 285
