Overdrive Problems

Car: 1997 240sx

I drive a 1997 240sx kouki. The overdrive was a bit faulty since i bought it last year, but recently it has just been stuck on on and i cant get it to turn off. Any ideas as to what may have caused this and how i can fix this?
