overdrive light never turns on

i got a 1995 nissan 240sx auto. and for some reason my overdrive light dont come on at all when i press the button or start the car.I have checked the light uld and replaced it with a good working one from the seat belt light bulb and nothing.I checke the switch for continuity and its fine.I even tried to jumper the wires and nothing.Can any one help me out please or can post a wiring diagram so i can know what to check next.

what was wrong with it?

1 it was missing the light bulb 2 i checked the switch and it was fine checked it for continuity.3 one of my wires was not making contact so i fixed that there was a cut wire4 then i traced the wires went back to the fuse box and i noticed one of my fuses was missing which was the a/t cont fuse(have no idea how it got off) had an extra one connected it and wanna chilli chilli bang bang the light came on and the car runs fine back to normal.

for now on the first think ill double check are my fuses and realys (which was something i should of checked but i had no idea there was a fuse for the a/t control unit)
