overdrive light flash!!!

when i start my engine, sometimes the overdrive light flash about 5-15 times!!.. what it mean? why the overdrive light flash when my engine start.....

the overdrive light flash only 5-15 times, and go to normal state(on or off!!) .....

and... where is the check engine light on my car??i have an 240sx 1990 fastback!!!

that is normal!!!!

that's what automatics do!!!

I think it is just testing the overdrive in the beginning, kind of like when your check engine light, brake light, etc go on when the key is in "ON".

As long as it doesn't do that when you start driving, you sould be fine.

The check engine light should be the 3rd light on the row with 5 lights on the bottom right of cluster.

If there is no image there, it means you got no CEL . The cluster I replaced mine with has no CEL, so I have to bust out the ECU when I check for codes.
