Overdrive button doesn't work! Help!

Ok so I looked around the forums and I didn't see anyone else post about this problem. Most likely because everyone has a manual. ><

I have an automatic 1997 240sx SE, and the overdrive button doesn't work any more. It no longer switches off when I want it to.

So no I am essientially in permanent overdrive (which is good i guess, cause if it was the other way, then I wouldnt have a 4th gear anymore).

If anyone could point me in the right direction to solve this problem I would appreciate it.
