Heres the story, I was running the stock wastegate actuator and a buddy
of mine needed a dash wiring harness and he just had a hks adjustable
actuator laying around so i told him he could have the harness for the
actuator, i put it on and i had to screw the end all the way out to about the
last few threads to drop boost to about 12-13 psi which is still a little high
but i didnt want to screw the end any further out. Well now that ive got
my wideband, ive realized that ive ive been pushing my injectors to 100%
bc as boost got to about 13 psi the afr's wout drop down to about 10. well
i decided to switch back to my stock wastegate until i get some injectors.
now for some reason my stock wastegate is boosting very high, ive seen it
hit 14.7 psi. I also hit fuelcut last night. I bypassed my boost controller
solenoid and it still does it. ive checked the vacuum hose that goes to the
actuator and its clear. ive taken off the actuator and shot it all over with
PB Blaster and hooked it to about 15psi from a regulated air line from a
compressor and put air to it many times and it seemed to move fine. I
checked the wastegate arm and it moves freely. I am going to try a
wastegate actuator off a t25 and see how it works bc i dont know any1
else with a t28. and i dont believe ive got enough power to boost creep.
