No luck with the search.

In looking at the FSM there doesn't appear to be much detail regarding the overflow / rainwater drain below the filler opening.

Mine is clogged, and ends up making a mess when rainwater and or car wash rinse sloshes out as I poke down the highway.

It appears to be clogged right at the entry point, and I do not wish to simply jam a screwdriver into the clog without knowing where that water goes afterward. Is there a hose which takes it to the bottom of the fender area and then overboard? My concern is that the water may end up inside the fender and lead to rust. I'd like to try and flog this thing for several years.

Thanks for any info oh so knowledgeable QDudes. I genuflect in your general direction.

I am a little confused if you are speaking of the sunroof drain or the fuel collar drain. I the latter, there were very long pipe cleaners available at one time. Have you tried compressed air? Even a small can should work.

Fueling drain.

I haven't tried anything yet because I first want to figure out what the configuration is. I gave it a gentle poke with a Phillips head and it seemed freakin' solid, almost as if there were no hole at all. I didn't want to get all cro-magnum with it until I had a better idea of its design. Thanks for the idea.

Hmmm, mine was clogged a couple of months back and I used a broom straw to dislodge the dirt that was in it. It's ok now.

It drains out to the ground.
