Hey guys,Everytime i go on an on-ramp or something with a curve, the fuel gauge is affected. On right turns it gradually goes down and on left turns it gradually goes up. Its also affected by braking. It doesnt shoot up or down, it slowly makes its way higher or lower. Lets say its at 1/2 tank before i do a short city drive (with various turns), throughout the drive it will be at around 1/4 tank. Then if i park it for a while and turn it back on it will be back to 1/2 again. Is there some kind of capacitor that's not working or is the sending unit just bad? Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

The gauge in the dash is suppose to reduce the fluctuation. It will move but only slightly depending on how long you hold the condition that creates the fuel slosh. Also in the tank is a baffle that is suppose to prevent exsseive fuel sloshing for both sending unit reasons and fuel pump pickup. If that has been removed you will see more then usual movement of the gauge although not to the extream since the gauge does most of that work.
