Over the top use of Elite Warranty?

So, I've got a 2006 M35 and one of the lights over the license plate keeps blinking on and off. I could change the bulb, or I could take it to the dealer and ask for warranty repair. Over the top?

I may be wrong, but a light blinking does not sound like a bad bulb. That sounds like a short. I'd take it in unless you know how to trace a short. Anyway, you paid for a service, utilize it.

Could be just loose too. I had that issue on my Maxima.
