1JZ's are cool. The smaller, rev-happy little brother of the 2JZ. 1JZ guys face the same criticism from the 2JZ guys that the CA guys do from SR/KA owners.

im pretty much stuck on little rev happy motors ,took me about a half a day to cut the cross member and get it bolted in,its pretty simple i used the stock 1jz rumber mounts, now if i can getting the wiring done ill be happy.

dee you should know i dont play !!!Im still waiting for my t4 manifold and gt42r it should be fun ill keep you up to date.this motor cost me less then my ca18 did.im still kinda sad that i had to sell my ca but the goal is 800whp and i know the ca wont have got me there

The CA wouldn't have gotten you 800whp unless you stroke the schnott out of it and put a really huge and worthless turbo on it (Unless you're screwing with nitrous). But yeah, I like the direction you're heading and I can't wait to see how your car acts with the 1j in place of nissan's famed power plants.
