over heating

well my SR is over heating go figure.. nothin can be perfect. AT least i know why though lower radiator hose is pinched sort of. its from the KA... i know you can buy hoses for the SR, im wondering... what kind would be the best just any or what? also does ne one make heater hoses for the SR swap. i just used a few feet of it from the local parts store but thats being pinched to. please help

There are many variants of SR rad hoses. You can use anything from stock to silicon style (Samco, Stylin hoses, etc etc)

i think all the hoses are pretty much the same quality whether you get them off the shelf from your local auto parts store or whether they are an aftermarket company...i have samco..i dont know why i bought them but they are nice and i didnt have any problems with fitment..just a little more money

Maybe you need to trim it a little more. Thats what I did (stock KA hoses) and I haven't had a problem with it pinching at all. My IC piping runs right along the side of it(custom IC piping because I didn't want to run a smaller battery and I didn't want to relocate it either) and it's a pretty tigh fit so I don't see why you shouldn't be able to just trim it and free up that kink.

yea i was having problems with my lower rad hose. It ended up blowing off when i was driving, and i didnt even know until i looked and saw my temp gauge go WAYYY up! Hope you fix your prob though.

thanks for all the help everyone, i put a hose clamp around the pinched area of the radiator hose for a temporary solution, i also relized that was leaking coolant from a crappy clamp i had on the heater hose so i replaced the clamps, hasnt overheated yet. thats one hell of a run on sentence i just typed haha. thanks again everyone
