Over Heating Problems

I have a 71 521 and it over heats even while idling. I have replace the thermostat and the radiator cap. Does anybody have any suggestions??

HEY HAVE YOU TAKEN THE RADIATOR TO A RADIATOR SHOP SO THEY CAN CLEAN IT UP FROM THE INSIDE..PROBALY IT HAS SOME LINES WITH DIRT WHICH DONT LET THE WATER TO CIRCULATE..

I would try the old fashioned flush first....
might work anyways...
can't hurt to try...

All of the above suggestions plus try this..install a fan shroud if you havent already. My 620 would get hot untill i installed the shroud.
