I recently had a TURBO XS boost controler installed in my car and a APEXI Super AFC II. I got a high and low switch inside my car, they tuned it at 12-13 PSI to produce good power and 8 PSI to be economical however today I noticed that when I hit the switch to turn up the boost my gauge reads 14-15 PSI for a second then drops down to 13. This car is my daily driver so I don't want blow the motor over boosting it. I am wondering if with the setup that I have if its unsafe for the boost to spike up that high.

That is a very common issue and I would not worry about boost spikes to 15. Usually it is the boost controllers solenoid not activating fast enough and since it is a small turbo that spools quickly you get a small spike. No biggie
