Car: 2004 Infinit G35

Post

I have 104k on my g35, and need to change oil in manual tran., what about front or rear bushings, shocks/springs ., wheel bearings, cv boots, ect. Is there anything else these cars need to keep them driving like new or better as for as maintenance?

Just want to have that new car feel, and be up to date for a while on the car. About to change brakes as well. Any tips or replacements I should be looking into? Thanks !

I'd have the dealer do one of the 80k plus checks.

People seem to really like Hawk pads.

I went with akebono pro-acts on my 04 coupe.
Will be putting them on my 04 G and 00 Max probably this summer.
Little dust, no noise, stops great.
However, I don't track mine. Hawks do seem to be popular here

I do work on cars, how much I hate it, but It is fun sometimes with a bud... etc...

However, infiniti keeps a service record of all the services on your car under the vin. If you are looking to upgrade the car to another infiniti I would continue to rely on the dealer for anything as far as maintenance. They would keep pure track of everything, and you would be in a much better position to get another new or used infiniti from that dealer later on, being you are trading in the one you have.

I know the prices are a big mark-up but s***, I can't change my oil for $32.99, but my dealer can, and I don't have to get under the car? He recommends the oil, and knows I will be there for any future, and exisiting services, so I am sure it is ok.

I am looking to upgrade later on this year, before my car depreciates again. I might go sedan. I love the coupe but the 2010 sedan seemed a little bit faster when I was partcially dogging one of their loaners, hahahaa.

Ha.

All-tho the coupe turns more heads, by far. Even with sedans all around you, the coupe is the baby that everyone loves.
