55 was like 2800RPM 65-70 was more 3400-4000 RPM. Third was a 1:1 trans ration with 3.698 rear diff.

Trading the fidanza flywheel and spec 2+ for this here. Now I can starting building a stoker motor or fo boost if I can fit it.



-fully CNC bored and deckedcompression depth for pistons you will need is 1.0982. this will put the pistons out of the hole .005 with a 6.125 rod and a 4.000 stroke.-.025 over (will need a finsih hone when you get pistons for it.)-9.2182 deck height measured on the CNC machine-align honed using ARP rod bolts.-a feature on the CNC machine is bore true. the CNC machine knows where the bores are supposed to be in relation to the blueprint hole. this accounts for casting shift. this program was run on this block so the bores are true with GM's specs.-fully cleaned in hot tank and shot blasted to remove factory paint and any residue. it was cleaned and blasted before machine work, so it is ready to assemble after a finish hone is donw on the cylinders. again this is a brand new block, never ran.-includes used front, rear and valley covers.

Pricing things out for about 2500-3000 I can build a forged 408ci stroker motor with L92 heads. Should make 500-550WHP all day on pump gas. Compression in the 11's/12's:1

Tried, nope didn't get it in.

I lowered the motor down some, trans jack wouldn't fit under the car and I only have one floor jack, I am trying to get some help and another jack. Shifter was also not lining up so well.

Tiny a** garage, sucks.

Found some local help, were gonna try to get the trans in this week. If it doesn't go I am going to loosen the rack bar, unbolt shocks, and lower the engine more with a cherry picker. It will go in, its just a matter of how easy or hard it will or wont be.

Trans is being a craigslist hooker. Just such a tight fit that I cant get the input shaft to clear the pressure plate forks before the bellhousing hit a hump on the trans tunnel. The trans tunnel is beaten and I cant stretch it much more. But I I can lower the motor an inch or two I can mate the two and lift them back in place. So I am looking for some chains and a engine hoist. If I loosen the steering rack spline lock, remove the strut bolts and the 4 17mm crossmember bolts I can lower the engine / crossmember down just enough to marry the two. So wish me luck, or if you have the stuff I need comeover I have a keg on tap.

So I might not have a trans, but I did just buy a new intake manifold. Stole it really, Weiand LSX high flow, and I already have a BBK throttle body. I am going to get it and my valvecovers powdercoated before install, but should free up a few more ponies. I should have my all day, good running N/A 450RWHP after a fresh tune soon.

engine crane is on its way I hope, buddy had one at work.

that's not bad at all then, i mean no doubt a t56 manual is going to be a lot more forgiving then th350, my truck has basically the same clutch, sprung 6 puck, it's my daily. though i have to say, a high stall is extremely fun at red nights.

but dammit, refer to my earlier post. i checked out otw and it is some decent hc and i'm wanting to get some discography.

and ps. when's there gonna be some pics?

Still waiting on my replacement trans member, grrrr. Trans filled with mobile one Dex 3 ATF (yes ATF). Hydrolics connected, motormount fixed, feet and hands frozen. I gravity bled the slave, waiting on my buddy to come by, I also need a 15mm wobble socket to torque the motormount bolts, DS is in, so once I have a crossemember its installed, torque it all, oil change, put exhaust back on, pull car out wire the ECU, take to tuner, drive it home

I think I may, but I think somewhere between Philly and you guys maybe. We need a bigger spot and it would be june / july. But there are a ton of events coming out right so I gotta make sure they dont clash.

some teaser, I need to seal the cuts, install boot, and when the X member comes it should lift the shifter up about a half inch or more. Everything is just resting, nothing wired or bolted down inside the car.

lookin really good man, i likes the gauge cluster. and this is probably just an illusion but that shifter looks pretty low.

Shifter is really low, it is a hurst short stick. But the tail is also down some I hope to get it up and inch when the crossmember arrives. If not I will have to lengthen it and inch or 2
