Outside Temp issue

Anyone dealt with Outside Temp reading incorrectly? Mine is reading 72 today (should be high 80s or above 90).

I assume the Abient Temp Sensor is going bad, if it doesn't fix itself in a few days I'll get a new sensor. Hope they can be replaced without removing the front grille.

Yeah, mine is usually that way when sitting in the sun.

But this one now reads 72 or so and only goes up to 75 at the most, when its 90 or so. Just started yesterday. Guess I'll be ordering an ambient temp sensor. Doesn't look like its possible to replace without remove the grille either.

Just called service at dealership and the sensor usually needs to be replaced when this issue shows up. Found one for $44 shipped on RockAuto vs $60 from Dealership.

Would have been probably. Rockauto call/emailed and they don't know when they can get them. But it seemed to fix itself the day after I ordered it. If it goes out again I'll just grab the one at the dealership.
