to make a long story short, i need a new output shaft from the differential. I have a 180SX VLSD (5 bolt design). is another 180SX output shaft the only shaft i can use or perhaps would one from a 96 J30 or 300ZX work? or better yet, does anyone have a spare 180SX output shaft I could buy?

the lsd is in my car and has been for a few months. the bolts on the driver side connecting the axle to the output shaft came loose and i drove it with it llike that (unknowingly) and so now the bolt holes are all egg shaped. so yeah, i may just call the importer i got the lsd from~

Why not just go to a shop that can make you an adapter or fitting to work with your existing shaft? Might be same price as buying a new drive shaft, or maybe cheaper.
