outer tie rod ends

I just got new ones from PDM, they are Beck Arnley oem replacement, but they seem to have some odd fittings that thread into the bottom of them, whats the deal with these?

zerg fittings. they are grease fitting so you can lube the balljoint

^^Those are inner tie rods... :rolleyes:

The fittings are for greasing the joints, OEM replacements vary by brand on whether they're serviceable or seal. Just have the shop grease them when you take the car in for an alignment.

Bam these ones.

Will they be ok should i drive to the alignment shop pre grease? as long as i dont dive hard on the way there, with a wonkey alignment.

Yeah those are the grease fittings scooz14 and I were talking about. Ideally you should borrow a grease gun if you can get your hands on one, but I'd still say that one short drive one them dry isn't going to shorten their life noticeably.
