The outher tie rods, I know I need to mark and/or count the turns. So I take out the tire, pull the pin, mark the end and or count the number of turns and simply replace??? is that it???

How about the inner ones? is it simple??

I also need to replace the front struts, I'm assuming I should get the alignment after all above are complete??

Thanks

ok, if your goin to begin to replace steering parts than you need to have the car 4 wheel aligned, counting the threads will get you somewhat close but you will probly end up chewing through the edges of your tires, the inner rod end bottems out on the joint, and it is a pain, you need to get a hammer and a screw driver and bash back the locking piece of metal that sits right behind the joint, than take a 2 wrenches and put one on the rack shaft and one on the joint and crank like all living heck cause it is locktited in there, i just had fun with this this past week when i rebuild my rack, that was fun, and for those wondering i am working on an instructional on it with pictures, should be done sometime this week
